The Judine Rogness family was living in the Johnson house on October 14, 1925 when I was born. We lived in several homes and farms in the Emmon, MN area all of my elementary and high school years.
I met Maxine Smith in Albert Lea, MN while Maxine was attending Nursing School and I was attending Waldorf College in Forest City, IA. We were married in the summertime.
We raised five children, Tony, Bradley, Dan, Dyla, and Paul. All are living and well. We have six Grand children, Mandy, Krista, Zack, Josh, Edward and Tim.
Our first year of marriage was spent in Mason City, IA. We moved to Emmons, MN and lived on the Flatin Homestead for some time. Later we moved to Albert Lea when I became employed by Interstate Power and I worked for them for fourteen years. My next job was with D & R Industries and lasted for twenty seven years.
Maxine and our daughter Dyla finished Nursing Training together while in Albert Lea and have worked as Nurses for many years.
We are now both retired and living in Sun City West, AZ. We make our home in Minnesota in the summer and stay through fall so we get to enjoy the rest of our family in the Midwest.
